This is my suggestion for a healthy “nutella”. I have been eating this fig cream on toasted rye bread in the morning with some extra pieces of banana. A perfect and healthy start of the day. I can imagine that it would go perfect with some pancakes as well. I actually love when my bananas get ripe, because they are a perfect sweetener in bread, cakes and in spreads like this.
- 4.4 oz. dried figs
- 1 medium ripe banana
- 1.7 oz. hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa
- Blend all ingredients together in a food processor.
- Pour the fig cream into a sterilized jar & lid.
- Keep the cream in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.
