Date Caramel Sauce

23/03/2018 by Julie Karla Leave a Comment

I use this date caramel sauce for soooo many things! It goes on top of my morning porridge, I use it as a snack together with fruit and I use it to, well, just to eat it straight from the bowl. Oh and yes I forgot on top of a bowl of mouthwatering nicecream! Yeah!Vegan Date Caramel Sauce

Super esay date caramel sauce

This date caramel sauce is super easy to make, it’s healthy and made with very few ingredients. When you make your own caramel sauce, you avoid all the additives and E-numbers from the store bought ones and we like that, right? Plus I love the fact that you get all the health benefits from the coconut oil and that sugar comes from the lovely organic medjoool dates, which is natural sugar and not refined sugar.

In the pictures I’ve topped my morning porridge with this caramel sauce. It’s a rye porridge made with almond milk and together with the date caramel this breakfast is just food heaven. If I had a café, this would definitely go on the menu.

My caramel is a bit thick, I like it that way, but you can make it more fluid just by adding some more water or coconut oil.Date Caramel Sauce Vegan
